This is really a beautiful piece of jewelry. I can't believe they are selling it at this price. I do wonder where they got the 48" though. I would guess it is about 24"-28" but haven't measured it. In any case, it is gorgeous. The stones are all very nice, both pearls and turquoise. The veins in mine are not as dark as those in the picture but enough for the needed contrast. The toggle hook and silver colored beads look nice and complement the pearls and stones. I did not find them particularly coarse like the first reviewer. The placement of the silver-colored beads are a nice contrast and, in my opinion, add to the elegance. I do agree with the second reviewer...you need to wear this with something simple in order to show off it's beauty. At the same time, simple could be anything from a fancy dress for a night on the town to jeans and a tee. Highly recommended.
