Perfect for 1/2 carat solitaires. By K. Griffin
These earring jackets made my mom's Christmas present! My father purchased her 1/2 carat solitaires from Overstock to fit his budget. The earrings when arrived were nice, but so tiny. So I thought I would add to the gift by getting diamond jackets to make them "appear" more impressive. I am so glad I found Katarina. WOW - beautiful packaging and even more beautiful product. I am so impressed. My mom's earrings are 1/2 carat (so that is 1/4 carat each earring)these jackets fit perfectly. They are so shiny and nice they actually made the solitaires pale in comparison, however, when combined together they make the set so beautiful. Attached is a pic, hopefully it turns out ok. The pic is of my mom's solitaires and the Katarina jackets. I liked them so much I was hoping to order a pair for my 1 carat solitaires, however, these jackets are a little small for a 1 carat set (1/2 carat each earring). The solitaire fit on top of the jacket instead of inside. It still looked stunning but did not add the wow factor that it did to the smaller solitaires. One other note, if your earrings are higher quality they may have a threaded backing instead of a smooth one, these still worked. My mom's was smooth post, went in just fine, mine are threaded post for extra security and I had to screw the post through the hole of the jacket, so it works just took a little time and if someone is not patient may feel they would no fit. You just have to screw the post through the hole of the earring jacket the same way you would the earring backing. Takes a little time but works.
Love the earrings and packaging and the item arrived the next morning after ordering it. I'll be ordering from this company again. Best wishes and happy shopping!!
